The run on 29th Sept is to The Chequers @ Ticknall! not as on the last email, start 7-30pm sharp.
Many thanks to all that came to the Stinkwheel show & for all you're efforts we won the best club stand (see attachment) & also go two highly commended bikes those belonging to the two Richards! Green & Pawson so well done to them, I will bring the trophy on WWednesday night.

Don't forget! Next week is the start of the winter attendance trophy; this is for anyone that attends the branch meetings through out the winter on a BSA Motorcycle from 1st Wed's in October till the end of March! Good luck to you all.

We would like some input from the members for things to do on Wednesday nights? we have some idea's but need a lot more please! it can be a film/slide show put on by you or another person, a talk or anything else you can think we would like to do or see please think about it & let the committee know.

South Derbyshire BSA OC 2010 Branch Camp

June 25th to June 27th 2010

We are pleased to announce that The Plough, Two Dales nr Matlock Derbyshire will be hosting our Branch Camp for 2010.

Having performed an ‘anti-rain dance’ earlier this year, we are hopeful that a dry camp will be had by all ( dry on the outside that is !!!)

Our regularly featured ‘ Saturday Run’ is on the cards , this year we are very hopeful of actually seeing the Druids as well as a few from that IX Roman Legion – you know – the Lost one ! - as long as the weather holds.

This year our intrepid Trail Blazer will be very ably assisted by ‘ He of Shiny Bike’ fame - that’s right folks , the “Sorcerer” has an apprentice and so we can look forward to a route that is both devious and pleasurable.

Some say he is a reincarnation of Amundsen or Captain Cook ; others that he has the ‘ supernatural’ powers of the Galactic Overlord , all we know is that he is “ The Box”
